A successful arrest was made during an attempted business robbery at Nu Home. On Tuesday, June 16 during the early morning hours an armed response tactical team from CSC Tactical responded to a business alarm at Nu Home Furnishers in Mandela Avenue.
On arrival they found the shop broken into but could still hear that someone was inside.
They tactically approached the crime scene whereafter two suspects were apprehended.
It was also later discovered that one of the suspects that was arrested was also wanted for various armed robberies, business break-ins, disarming of security officers and shooting of a police officer.
