Now you can keep an eye on Nolan and Liz in their kennels

CSC Virtual Guarding and Firmlinx have come ‘to the kennels’ to keep an eye on the two brave ‘inmates’.

Dr Nolan Landman and Ms Liz Oberholzer are in for a shock.

The two animal-lovers who will be staying in kennels at Witbank SPCA to raise funds for the SPCA will have a companion with them.

CSC Virtual Guarding and Firmlinx have come ‘to the kennels’ to keep an eye on the two brave ‘inmates’.

Cameras will be placed in front of their kennels and our readers will be spoiled with some live video in the evening and also at around 05:00 in the morning.

“We are very excited to be part of this project,” Mr Pieter Cromhout from CSC Virtual Guarding said.

He said he is super excited to see how Doc Nolan and Liz brave the cold.

As people stay in their homes during the national lockdown, they are urged to spare a thought for shelter animals.

The lockdown has a severe impact on the income of the SPCA, due to no visitors to the society and the suspension of income-generating services and fundraising events.

Funds are drying up, but the society’s running costs are still the same.

“We are in urgent need of funds and dog and cat food,” said the SPCA manager Ms Natalie Pretorius.

So far Doc Landman and Liz will be spending seven days in the kennels as just over R35 000 was raised so far.

They will not be allowed to take any luxuries with them. Forget about thick and fluffy duvets and pillows, they are allowed dog blankets.

The SPCA is in desperate need of kitten food, puppy food, adult food, cat litter, blankets, donations towards their vet bills, donations towards their fuel account and monetary donations for the centre to assist with running costs.

If you would like to see Dr Nolan and Liz stay in the kennels you can donate money into the following account:
