Notice – vending system/pre-paid sales
Clients are also informed that the vending outlets have not been affected and are all operational as in the past whether it be through on line platforms and selected outlets

This serves to inform the Community of Emalahleni that due to the municipality implementing a new pre-paid operating system that commenced on July 1 some of the clients might experience problems when buying electricity pre-paid tokens due to the transferring of data from old system to the new system.
It has been noticed that some clients have been experiencing challenges with vending which has been traced to incomplete information on the client’s existing profiles.
The municipality has however put systems and processes in place to assist customers on a 24 hour basis should a client experience such difficulties which can be resolved without the need for clients to visit the municipal offices in person.
Clients are also informed that the vending outlets have not been affected and are all operational as in the past whether it be through on line platforms and selected outlets.
Clients are advised to buy electricity first from all the outlets used by the municipality namely (Pick’n Pay;Checkers; Shoprite; on line garages and Spaza Shops).
