Soup and bread were provided for a lot of people who stand in line near the Price Breaker Supermarket entrance on Friday, August 21.

“The main purpose behind the feeding scheme is to relieve those members of the community who are not in the position to take care of basic needs such as food. This feeding scheme also aims to assist those breadwinners of homes where it is difficult to provide meals for their families. We do not realise that as the times are becoming tougher, more and more people are finding it difficult to satisfy their basic needs,” explained Mr Mungalee.
