Curro takes learning outside the classroom
The school took its learners for an educational outing at Fruit & Veg City on August 26.
Curro Bankenveld learners recently enjoyed an educational outing to Fruit & Veg City, where they explored the world of fresh produce.
The interactive outing on August 26 gave learners a behind-the-scenes look at how a commercial fresh produce market operates, turning everyday grocery shopping into a learning experience.
Accompanied by educators, the learners explored several key areas of the store.
They went through the fresh fruit and vegetable section, freezer section, offloading bay, till points and the cutting and preparation station.
“It was wonderful to see the learners’ excitement as they explored each area and gained valuable real-world knowledge through hands-on observation,” the school said.
The educational adventure wrapped up on a sweet note, with the learners enjoying a well-deserved ice cream treat.
