Men in court after allegedly cutting man’s finger off
He told police he took two bottles of Nivea Body Lotion intending to pay for it

Two men briefly appeared in Witbank Magistrate Court after allegedly cutting off a man’s finger.
The men appeared on October 6.
It is alleged that the man was at Ohlonga Cash and Carry in the central business district on October 5 doing what he called ‘window-shopping’.
He told police he took two bottles of Nivea Body Lotion intending to pay for it.
A security guard came closer and accused the man of stealing.
The man alleged that he was taken to a security company where two men allegedly told him to choose to be killed or his fingers cut off.
He said the men cut his finger off and took him into a yard where what is believed to be security dogs bit him.
He managed to escape and ran to the main license office for help.
