Tjhida Ngi Tjhudule Ndebele group receives sanitary towels

They must always stay protected and safe and report any abuse to their parents or teachers

Tjhida Ngi Tjhudule Ndebele group were presented with sanitary towels from the office of the executive mayor.

Ms Trudy Xhala-Mavimbela manager of the Transversal Unit in the office of the executive mayor presented the group with the towels at Klarinet on Wednesday, November 25.

She said she was encouraged by the group who always is present when called to entertain or to offer any service. She also thanked Ms Johanna Mthimunye their leader and mentor.

“You are a good example to other children of your age, especially girls because your time at Ms Mthimunye’s house practising and learn more about your culture and other things. She is also your parent; please respect her as you respect your parents. She is here to guide you and to motivate you. Remember also that education is the key to success, be the symbol of change to your family and the community,” noted Ms Xhala-Mavimbela

Members of the group Tjhida Ngi Tjhudule Ndebele after they were presented with sanitary towels from the office of the executive mayor represented by Ms Trudy Xhala-Mavimbela manager of the Transversal Unit. The presentation was held on Wednesday, November 25 at Klarinet.

  Ms Xhala-Mavimbela also reminded the children as they start the 16 days of activism of no violence against children.

They must always stay protected and safe and report any abuse to their parents or teachers.

She also told them that the donation is one of the symbols of love from the executive to them, and they must use them and not use newspapers as that may cause sickness to them.

She also wished them all the best in the exams.
