Giving is greater than receiving

Jameela said she will keep on giving back to the community, more especially to the less privileged people; they deserve to be loved all the time

Ten-year-old Miss Junior Nkangala Jameelah Maleka has left Ms Sonto Nyembezi speechless with tears of joy breaking in her eyes.

Jameelah handed over a donation that is going to help Sonto to extend her orphanage home.

According to the stunning young lady, her reason for handing over the enormous parcel is because the orphanage is very close to her heart and it’s because she wanted to show Ms Sonto that she loves her and appreciates her.

While people were celebrating, Jameelah shared her story behind the orphanage: “My mother grew up at an orphanage and from her I’ve learned that sharing is caring. I have learned that it takes a village to raise a child because she was raised by different people just like these friends of mine (orphans), that’s why today I’m sharing my love with my peers and ma’am Sonto. I’m here to show them that at the end of a tunnel there is light. Therefore they shouldn’t give up in life, but remain strong,” she said.

Children were very pleased to see their peer doing great in life and they wished her all the best.

Jameelah continued to encourage them to remain positive and she told WITBANK NEWS that she wants to be an inspiration to the children who are growing up in orphanages because she truly understands the feeling of being an orphan.

The thing that inspires the kids about Jameelah is that she is swimming with the big sharks at an early age.

The newly-crowned Miss Junior Nkangala is expected to represent South Africa as Miss SA Junior next year in Mumbai (India) and she said she can’t wait to wave the South African flag high, not only as a person who represents South Africa, but as a hero of the less fortunate children like the ones that Sonto is helping.

The South African golden girl from eMalahleni has traveled the world at an early age.

She has been in Asia, Dubai, Mozambique, Zambia and some other parts of the world.

Sonto didn’t have enough words to thank Jameelah for showing her pure love and care.

“I wish that God could protect this young hero of my kids and keep on blessing her with all the glories that will make her prosper in life. I’m very grateful for this enormous donation, it’s going to change the lives of my children,” said Sonto.

Jameela said she will keep on giving back to the community, more especially to the less privileged people; they deserve to be loved all the time.

She believes that the hand that gives is more blessed than the one that receives.
