Waterless Sunday for some areas
According to a local municipal public notice, some areas will have water outages.
Emalahleni Local Municipality published a notice of the water outages in some areas for today.
The water supply to the following areas is affected due to a damaged pipeline and repairs will be carried out today, September 5.
KwaGuqa Ext 2/Zone 14
KwaGuqa Ext 7,10,11 & 18
Portion of Empumelelweni extensions
The water supply to Klarinet Ext 6,7 and 8 is affected due to a pipe break and the system has been isolated.
The community unit of the municipality stated that;
- The team is still investigating the cause of low water pressure affecting Witbank Ext 41.
- The team is investigating the cause of the continuous pipe breaks affecting Tasbet Park Ext 1.
- The water supply to Witbank Ext 8 is affected due to a pipe break and repairs will be carried out today.
- The water supply to a portion of Tasbet Park Ext 2 is affected due to a pipe break and the system has been isolated.
