Keeping girls in school for good

Girls at Hlalanikahle Primary School were taught about personal hygiene and this encouraged their self-esteem

With the little they have, MM Givers Foundation trying its best to give hope to others. The foundation made a generous contribution to schools in eMalahleni. On Wednesday, September 29, the team donated sanitary towels to Hlalanikahle Primary School. Upon arrival, the girls at the school were taught about personal hygiene and how to groom themselves.

A practical illustration was also demonstrated for the girls to understand. Mr Samuel Tolman, acting principal at Hlalanikahle Primary School said that the amount of help that is received from people and originations within the community is overwhelming.

“We are really thankful that people care about our children and even reach into their pockets to better people’s lives. The children at our school are very blessed and we hope people continue with the great work they are doing,” he added.

The foundation donated sanitary towels to Vuma Primary School, Nkonjane Primary School, Nelson Ngubeni Primary School, and Sibukosethu Primary School.
