Community CPF members ready to treat you

The members were given NQF level 2 certificates and First Aid kits to kick-start their journeys.

Community Policing Forum (CPF) members work hard to keep communities safe and peaceful, yet they sometimes do not have the necessary skills to help those that are in harm’s way.

Seriti Coal with the help of Phola Police Station, Abu-training and Klipspruit Emergency Medical Services (EMS) gave CPF members first aid  training.

The training commenced on Monday, November 8 and ended on Friday, November 12 where members were trained to help injured people, since they are the first to arrive on scene. CPF members were from Phola, Rietspruit, MNS and Lesedi.

Lorato Rakwena, co-ordinator for Phola CPF said that the first responders program will be of great help to her other members.
