Repairing men who will repair the world
Men from all walks of life got together in a psychologically safe environment to have vulnerable, authentic conversations.

Men around eMalahleni gathered for a black-tie event to debunk the societal issues that they experience.
The event was hosted by Mzwandile Magagula who is a pastor and a mentor on Friday, November 19.
The purpose of the event was not to just hand over some life-changing advice, but it was also aimed at making men feel safe to talk about issues that they face daily.
Men from all walks of life got together in a psychologically safe environment to have vulnerable, authentic conversations.
The event took place in Silector Auto & General Services workshop in Klipfontein to paint a picture of how every car is manufactured in a secluded place before it’s displayed in the showroom.
“The scourge of GBV needs men who will change the narrative by speaking up and holding each other accountable. This needs intentional accountability, mentorship and modeling. Now that we know better, we will do better,” said Magagula.
Even though the event was a success, Pastor Magagula believes that the work needs to happen in their hearts, individually. “The best progress takes place when we apply what we’ve learned, in our real everyday lives,” Mzwandile added.
Guest speakers that delivered empowering messages included Njabulo Makama who is a mining guru; Thabiso Mabogoane who is an entrepreneur and trailblazer and Ackson King Mwami who is a leadership expert and author.
