Seriti ploughing back to communities in Mpumalanga
Food parcels were handed over to the elderly and child headed families.

Seriti continues to care for the communities in and around the country.
The organization distributed over 1 000 food parcels to the needy, including the elderly, child headed households, orphanages and places of safety for victims of crime, in communities surrounding their operations over the festive season.
This initiative is the brainchild of Seriti CEO, Mike Teke, who rallied employees to take on the challenge and partner with him in supporting those in need in our communities.
“This is in line with our core value of respect for all and in the spirit of giving and ubuntu.”
The country has been plagued by many social challenges, now exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic in the past two years.
Many have lost their source of income during the lockdown and continue to face the challenge of providing for their families and those under their care.
Mike Teke, Seriti CEO said: “The festive season is the time of year when we all should remember those less fortunate than us and be a blessing to them. This initiative has presented an opportunity for Seriti to lend a helping hand to our neighbors in need, ensuring that they can also enjoy a joyous time with their families.”
The initiative was carried out by the Seriti teams across the business, in close collaboration with the community, to ensure that they reach out to households that are in desperate need of food supplies during this time.
Seriti continues to support local communities in areas of need and develop projects to deliver positive outcomes for future generations.
