Witbank Police spokesperson, Sergeant David Ratau warns that vehicle owners must not leave their vehicles outside and should lock them up instead.

He further warns that it is easy for thieves to pick up motorcycles when left outside.

“We are requesting the public to mark their vehicles with a distinguishing characteristic, as it will assist in identification if the property was tampered with,” Ratau said.
