Empowering people living with disability

People with disabilities received their learner’s licenses and are now ready for practical driving lessons.

The Emalahleni Local Municipality Transversal Unit in partnership with the Disability Economic Empowerment Trust delivered a driving training programme funded by a local gas station to 15 people living with disabilities.

On Friday, June 17 people with disabilities received their learner’s licenses and are now ready for practical driving lessons.

This will include the use of universally accessible vehicles for their training towards obtaining driving licenses.
