Possible hijacked Volkswagen Polo discovered in Vosman

Extension 14 community leaders are asking for anyone with information to call Vosman police station.

A man in Vosman Extension 14 was surprised when he woke up to an unknown Volkswagen Polo parked outside his home.

Community leader Refiloe Dema said she was notified by residents to alert Vosman community members of this mysterious car that was discovered on Monday morning, March 6 at around 06:00.

The man who found the car in his yard said he wished to remain anonymous and further outlined that the vehicle is still in his yard, “The policeman I informed of this matter said the car is a rental. I had suspected the car may have been hijacked and later dumped in my yard and I do not know why. This is very unfortunate for me because it makes me look like I am affiliated with criminal activities,” he said.

The man also alleged that he is waiting for the company that the vehicle allegedly belongs to as well as a way forward from the police.

Dema also asked that if anyone has information regarding the vehicle to contact Vosman Police Station on 013 659 8400.
