N4 closed both sides – seriously injured to be airlifted by emergency helicopters

Helicopters are summoned to transport seriously injured patients.

The N4 highway is closed and paramedics are all on the scene trying to assist patients after a serious accident this morning.

A taxi transporting learners and a truck were among the vehicles involved in the fatal accident.

Two helicopters were summoned and are trying to land to transport critically injured patients.

Motorists are urged to please be patient as traffic is backing up.

All necessary emergency personnel are on the scene.
