Police are asking locals to help find an eight-year-old child who went missing.

Nelisiwe Mabona went missing yesterday (Wednesday, July 5) from her home in Vosman.

According to a police report, Nelisiwe was playing outside with other kids at 09:30 in the morning.

Her father informed the police that at the time he was getting ready for work.

But when he was about to depart, he noticed that Nelisiwe was no longer among the children she was playing with.

When the father asked the other children about his daughter’s whereabouts they told him that she had gone down the street by herself.

Nelisiwe’s father informed the police about his missing daughter after a search party for her failed to turn up any leads.

Nelisiwe was last seen wearing a black dress with long sleeves.

Police at Vosman Police Station urge anyone with information that may help them find Nelisiwe to contact them at 079 891 4822.
