House robbers are not up to heavy lifting

Robbers could not lift the sound equipment and opted for something lighter.

A resident had a very bad experience recently when she was threatened with her life by a house robber.

The victim said that she was home alone busy with her washing when she came across two unknown men standing at her door.

The victim said that one of the men seemed like he wanted to ask her a question. As she approached, the man had a knife in his hand and demanded that she open the door.

The victim had then been led by the two robbers into the home where they asked her for a laptop.

The robbers tried their luck by taking the music system but left it as it was too heavy. They did however manage to take the plasma television and fled the scene.

Luckily the woman was not injured and investigations are still ongoing.
