Search for missing elderly man starts

A search party is getting ready to look for 80-year-old Jeff Clapperton this morning.

The community gathered at the Puma Garage from where the search party will go to the location where  Jeff Clapperton’s car was found yesterday.

Clapperton was driving a white Hyundai Atos, registration: FJX 072 MP and is suspected to have been wearing grey or black tracksuit pants and a black tracksuit jacket when he dissapeared on July 16.

He has tattoos on both arms.

Clapperton is about 1.6m tall and weighs 55kg.

He has grey hair and blue eyes.

 

WITBANK NEWS will keep readers updated.

His car was found nearly 20km outside eMalahleni on a farm road turning off the Zaaihoek Road.
