For Mandela Day, News Café Witbank assisted Siphosenkosi Disability Centre with food.

The restaurant has been working with the centre for several years.

Clement Ngwenya, general manager of News Café, Witbank said they have been supporting the disability centre for a few years already, “What Rachel, her mom and the team are doing for those that cannot help themselves, is just something that warms our hearts,” Clement said.

Clement said News Cafe is proud to be associated with the centre and would encourage other businesses to get involved as well.

Founder of Sipho Senkosi Centre, Yvonne Mavimbela expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the institution that has been working tirelessly with her and the centre.

“The restaurant usually calls me to pick up the groceries; a big thank you to the kind owner and staff. On Mother’s Day and during the festive season, staff members from the disability centre are called to enjoy the food at the restaurant. I am so grateful to News Cafe,” Yvonne cheered.

She laughed and said that she doesn’t even know how much cooking oil costs, as she often receives 25 litres from the restaurant.

Yvonne wished to express her gratitude to News Cafe staff and owner for all their thoughtfulness.

She went on to thank everyone who helps and contributes to the centre.
