Lack of available materials cause for delayed water repairs

Residents are expected to remain patient as repairs are still underway.

A few areas in and around the city are experiencing low to no water.

This is due to ongoing repairs and the lack of supplies to finalise repairs.

Residents of Culembourg Crescent, Die Heuwel, are still without piped water supply due to outstanding repair works.

Repairs have resumed this morning.

Residents of Pine Ridge will also experience a shortage of water as repairs are also ongoing on Delphinium Street.

The delay is caused by the municipality’s struggle to obtain the required materials.

The residential and business areas in Ogies are also left with no water due to a leaking pump line close to the N12 highway. Repairs have continued this morning.

Residents are advised to remain patient as repairs are ongoing.
