Load-shedding reduction continues

Although reduced, load-shedding continues.

This weekend, residents could breathe a sigh of relief as the load-shedding has reduced drastically. Little to no load-shedding could be attributed to the return of service of the Kusile 3 Power Station.

Eskom notified that the electricity demand has been lower than anticipated. Here is the load-shedding schedule for today, Monday, October 2.

Eskom will implement stage two from 16:00 today until 05:00 on Tuesday.

Buffer Substation 17:00 – 19:30

Kwa-Guqa Substation, no load-shedding

Ga-Nala Substation, no load-shedding

Doornpoort and Rietspruit Substations, no load-shedding

Grobler Substation 16:00 – 17:30

Clewer, Ogies and Phola Substations 19:00 – 21:30
