Brace yourself for a lot of rain

The weatherman said we can expect some heavy downfalls today.

The weather forecast for today warns about some severe thunderstorms.

Together with the thunderstorms will come possible heavy downpours.

This will result in localised flooding that is expected over the Mpumalanga Highveld.

Residents are urged to avoid crossing low-lying bridges, streams, and rivers.

Motorists must be very careful and avoid driving in flooded areas.

“Also remember the roads are slippery, drive with extreme caution,” said police spokesperson Captain Eddie Hall.
