Curro Bankenveld teachers raise cancer awareness

The teachers stood in solidarity to support the Betty Bandana NPO.

Female teachers at Curro Bankenveld stood in solidarity and raised awareness against cancer.
The ladies closed off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in style when they rocked up in pink attires.
A teacher at the school, Anika van der Walt, said the school is proud to support the Cansa cause at school.

“Additionally, we proudly joined the Betty Bandana cause on Saturday, showing unwavering commitment to supporting cancer awareness. We are genuinely proud to have such passionate individuals at our school who stand with Cansa in the fight against cancer,” she said.

Anika said that the teachers who stood in solidarity demonstrated the strength of the school’s community when it comes to making a difference in the world, ”Let’s continue to stand together, shoulder to shoulder, and keep fighting for a cancer-free world,” Anika encouraged.
