Water Supply Disruption in eMalahleni

Affected areas: Check if your neighborhood is on the list for water disruption in eMalahleni

People in eMalahleni who get their water from the Point C reservoir are going to face water interruptions from Monday, January 8 to Friday, January 12. This is because there’s a leak in the pump line from the B-C reservoir to the Point C reservoir, and maintenance work is needed.

The repair work includes fixing leaks on the B-C line, dealing with valves at Point C, and working on some reservoirs.

Residents and businesses are asked to store water and use it wisely during this time.

Water tankers will be at schools and clinics to help.

Areas like Bankenveld, Ben Fleur extensions, Reyno Ridge extensions, Del Judor Extensions 2, 4, 5 and 10, N4 Business Park, Corridor Hill, Extensions 16 and 41, Dixon Plots, Tasbet Park Extensions 2, 3 and 12, and Duvha Park extensions won’t have water during this period.

The water should be back to normal by Friday, January 12.

People are requested to use water carefully while the municipality works on fixing things.

If anyone needs more information, they can contact the municipality during office hours at 013 690 6911 or 013 690 6963/6949 or call the Call Centre at 013 690 6222/333/444.
