The Usenethuba Project of traditional policing in collaboration with the provincial police launched the reintegration project.
Usenethuba project aims to use traditional policing elements to successfully integrate parolees back into society.
Colonel Poppy Mahlaela from Mpumalanga Police said the Traditional Policing concept was developed as a model for policing in rural and traditionally led communities to combat crime.
