Suspects sought after cellphones and laptops were stolen
Reward offered for information leading to arrest of mall robbery suspects.
The police are urging the public to be on the lookout for two suspects who allegedly burgled a retail-chain clothing store at a local shopping centre last week.
According to a police report the store closed its doors on February 13 at 18:30 and there was no sign or indication of the break-in that would occur later on.
At 02:00 on Wednesday, February 14, a mall security officer called the manager of the shop to inform her that there had been a break-in.
On arrival, the manager noticed that the goods receiving door had been forced open.
When entering the business premises, she noticed that all the new laptops and cellphones that were received for stock at the shop had been stolen.
A reward has been offered for identification of the suspects, leading to an arrest.
The police have asked to please not confront the suspects directly, if spotted, as they may be armed and dangerous.
Anyone from the public who can assist the Witbank Police in arresting these suspects involved in business breaking at the retail-chain clothing can contact Witbank Detective Services standby number 079 891 4809 or crime stop on 086 0010 111 or contact the MYSAPSAPP.
