Four vehicles were involved in a crash on the R547 outside Ga-Nala
According to Percival Motloung from Percival Emergency Medical Services a truck allegedly was driving into oncoming traffic and that led to the Toyota Corolla to swerve and lose control of his vehicle.
The Corolla’s driver then collided with three more vehicles (two Toyota Quantums, and a 22-seater Mercedes Benz Sprinter) on Sunday, February 25 at around 20:00.
Motloung pleaded with truck drivers to be considerate of other road users, especially on the R547 between Ga-Nala and Thubelihle as the road is in a bad condition, especially at night.
“We plea with the motorists to always give right of way for emergency vehicles; we had a challenge to reach the accident scene because all lanes were blocked by cars,” Motloung ended.
