Local nursery school teaches young ones the art of giving back

Feed My Lamb Nursery School visited to donate food and drinks.

Love was in the air at the Home of Hope orphanage when Feed My Lamb Nursery School visited to donate food and drinks.

Seipati Nthotso, principal at the school, shared insight on the importance of teaching children at tender ages to share and give back.

She also mentioned that the purpose of the donation on Valentine’s Day was to enforce the spirit of giving back and sharing love with those who are in need.

“When discussing Valentine’s Day, people usually focus on lovers and couples. For us, we speak on the everlasting love of God. Because the love of men can end, as I can love you today and not tomorrow. The love of God is everlasting, according to Jeremiah 33 verse 3, and we have come to share that love with all of you,” Seipati preached.

The orphanage’s founder, Maya Elkins, informed that she has been running the home and place of safety for orphans since 1997.

She thanked God for the grace he extended to her and her children, as she refers to orphans as her children.

“They are my children that God blessed me with. I love them as I love my kids. I would like to thank Mem Seipati. Sister, what you do, you do not do for yourself, but for others. God will bless your school and your children. The next generation will benefit from your work,” she encouraged.

The founder ended by emphasising the importance of prayer and teaching children how to pray at an early age on Wednesday, February 14.

She also attested that her orphanage and the nursery school have a bright future ahead as they believe in the word of God.
