Adjudicators are astonished by the standard of art showcased during the Artium Arts Festival

From July through to August, around 1 900 students from various schools participated in this well-known organisation’s competition.

The motto, ‘life is like a trumpet – if you don’t put anything into it, you won’t get anything out of it’ was this year’s theme for the well-known Artium Arts Festival annual concert.

The concert held at HTS on October 7 is known purely for celebrating the talents that the learners of Mpumalanga have brought to the stage.

From July through to August, around 1900 students from various schools participated in this well-known organisation’s competition and partook in different categories such as dance, vocal, creative writing, photography, instrumental, and drama.

Numerous adjudicators from all over the country commented on the standard these learners, from Grade R to Grade 12 have produced and the respect they have completed their different masterpieces with.

Artium’s chairperson, Magda Wolmarans would like to thank all the participating schools, teachers, coaches, and principals for allowing students to grow in their creativity by participating and allowing Artium to use various school facilities.

“The annual festival concert produced spectacular talent and items, which were set to entertain the audience. Artium congratulates all participating learners for their outstanding achievements, especially our 2024 management trophy winners for primary school, Henré Mostert, and high school, Abigail Cullen,” Magda said.

The Artium Arts Festival is a platform created specifically for school learners and wants to encourage all learners, parents, and teachers to become part of this growing, creative family here in the midst of Mpumalanga.
