Rebel 4 Africa rally 2024, bikers unite for a noble cause
Bikers against hunger ride across Africa

Where the open road meets open hearts, the Rebel 4 Africa 2024 Rally brought bikers and communities together in a thrilling display of fellowship and charity.
The rally, held from October 18 to 20, brought bikers together from across Africa for an unforgettable weekend of camaraderie, adventure, and community outreach.
The event, organised by the Rebel Troops, saw participants from South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Eswatini, Lesotho, and other neighbouring countries converge at Witbank Dam.
The rally kicked off with bikers eager to participate in the weekend’s activities.
The charitable ride to the Siphosenkosi Centre on October 20, a home for disabled children and orphans in Ackerville, was the rally’s centrepiece.
Hundreds of bikers formed a massive convoy, riding in solidarity to the centre.
Upon arrival, they spent time with the children, donated essential supplies, and let the kids enjoy the sight of the bikers up close.
Sphiwe Nkosi, a supervisor at the centre, expressed gratitude to the Rebel Troops for their continued support, “We’re thankful for the bikers’ kindness, but we also appeal to local officials to provide a better facility for our children.”
Lebogang Phepeng, Rebel Troop’s president, emphasised the importance of giving back, “Our rally is about making a difference in our communities.”
After the heartfelt visit, the bikers returned to Witbank Dam for a fun-filled afternoon of games, competitions, and African-themed celebrations.
Activities included a tug-of-war, wheelbarrow races, and an egg-juggling contest.
The event’s success was made possible by generous sponsors.
As the sun set, participants agreed to a prize-giving ceremony before ending the night with music and dancing.
The rally left a lasting impression on eMalahleni, inspiring a sense of community and social responsibility.
With the event concluded, anticipation for next year’s Rebel 4 Africa Rally is already building. The bikers’ legacy will continue to unite communities across Africa.
