Resident seeks community’s help in locating beloved Polo Vivo
Thulani Mahlangu, a resident of Extension 14, has made an urgent plea after his beloved Polo Vivo was stolen from his home.

A desperate plea has been issued by a resident of KwaGuqa Extension 14, Thulani Mahlangu, whose trusty Polo Vivo was stolen from his home last week.
“My car was stolen in the early hours of Tuesday, January 7,” Mahlangu explained. “What’s even more concerning is that I heard other cars were stolen in the area that same week, and I feel like mine was targeted.”
Mahlangu is counting on the community’s help in tracking down his beloved vehicle and bringing it back home.
The theft occurred when thieves broke the lock on the gate to gain entry into Mahlangu’s home while his family was still asleep. Mahlangu’s greatest concern is the theft of his Polo Vivo, which holds great sentimental value.
“I’m devastated by the loss of my car because I use it to go to work,” Mahlangu said.
The stolen vehicle is a Polo Vivo with the number plate KJN 744 MP. Mahlangu is urging anyone with information about the stolen vehicle to come forward and assist in its recovery.
“I’m begging the community to keep an eye out for my car,” Mahlangu pleaded. “If anyone sees it, please contact the authorities immediately. I’m counting on your help to bring my car back home.”
The SAPS has issued safety awareness tips for vehicle owners, emphasising the importance of locking doors and windows, keeping valuables out of sight, and parking in well-lit areas.
