Woman allegedly gang-raped amid house robbery in Extension 5
It is alleged that the woman was gang-raped during a house robbery in Extension 5.

Vosman Police have recorded a significant surge in rape cases in Vosman.
This comes after two more cases were reported in two consecutive days.
According to the report, a woman was allegedly gang-raped during a house robbery on Ngobe Street in Extension 5.
The 27-year-old was said to be sleeping at her house with her partner on Saturday, January 11 at around 02:00 when they heard someone knocking at the door.
When the couple refused to open the door, it is alleged that two men broke into the room, threatened them with a pocket knife, and demanded their cellphones and money.
It is alleged that the men demanded more money from the couple.
When the couple did not have enough money, the two men dragged the boyfriend outside, who later escaped to seek help.
According to police, the suspects came back into the house and pushed the complainant to the bed.
One of them choked her, and the other one pulled down her underwear and allegedly raped her.
When he was done, the other man allegedly raped her as well before they fled the scene on foot.
The following day, on Sunday, January 12, a woman was with her friends at a local tavern.
It is said that when she decided to leave, she asked a friend to accompany her to her home at Extension 9 in KwaGuqa.
At around 04:00 the woman did not have the keys to open the door to her home and asked her uncle to assist.
When he refused, she saw a friend passing by and spoke to him.
Whilst speaking to the friend, it is alleged that she saw someone breaking her padlock and saw a man entering her room.
The woman supposedly went inside her room, put on her pajamas, and slept.
She was then awakened by an unknown male, who pointed her with an object and allegedly raped her before he fled the scene.
