Klarinet carjacking incident leaves man fighting for his life
A carjacking in Klarinet left a man hospitalised, with no car and cellphones.

A man was left hospitalised after he was allegedly shot during a hijacking in Klarinet Extension 6.
According to the police, on April 17 around 19:00, they were called to a scene of carjacking and attempted murder.
Upon their arrival, they found crime prevention members as the victim had already been rushed to the hospital after an alleged shot that caused him to sustain serious injuries.
It is alleged that the man was robbed of his car and cellphones.
With carjackings on the rise in eMalahleni, Sergeant David Ratau spokesperson for Witbank SAPS said, “Have your key ready, but not visible. Know your destination and directions, and be alert, should you get lost. When stopping behind another vehicle, leave half a vehicle length in front of your vehicle to make an emergency escape, if necessary,”
He added that you must not pick up hitchhikers or strangers.
