Emalahleni Speaker steps down after weeks of controversy

The party has already sent letters to the municipality, and they will declare his position vacant.

The ANC has confirmed that Clr Mduduzi Nkosi’s tenure as Emalahleni Council Speaker has ended.
According to ANC Regional Secretary Sello Matshoga, Nkosi’s departure is in response to the party’s request.
The ANC has yet to disclose the specific reasons behind this decision.

This decision comes nearly a month after the ‘Mswati Must Fall’ memorandum was submitted, citing allegations of money laundering, interference with local businesses, and dividing the community.
