Clr Qondi Maseko axed as Emalahleni Chief Whip
Emalahleni Local Municipality left without a speaker and chief whip.
The African National Congress (ANC) has removed Clr Qondi Maseko as the Chief Whip of Council in the Emalahleni Local Municipality.
According to ANC Regional Secretary Sello Matshoga, the decision was made due to issues of internal coordination.
This move comes after the ANC confirmed that Clr Mduduzi Nkosi’s tenure as Emalahleni Council Speaker had ended on April 30.
