Warning – do not travel on the N12 at night unless you really have to

The N12 is currently a high-risk zone as more spiking incidents were reported in the past 24 hours.

Motorists travelling on the N12 between the R42 and R50 exits were targeted in spiking incidents last night.

According to AfriForum in Delmas large rocks were deliberately placed on both lanes of the highway causing extensive damage to multiple cars.

The AfriForum team regularly patrols the highways to clear the road of rocks and spiking objects, and warned motorists to exercise extreme caution, especially when traveling at night.

“Do not stop under any circumstances unless absolutely necessary. These suspects are reportedly armed and are known to rob victims of their personal belongings,” was the message from the team.
