From eMalahleni to Durban, Boy’s walk begins

WITBANK NEWS will give regular updates on Boy's journey as he walks to Durban.

After weeks of preparations and delays, Boy Ndlovu, a resident of Klarinet, has officially started off with his walk to Durban.

The 34-year-old said he was touched by the conditions that children in many orphanages around eMalahleni are exposed to, and he decided to take a step to make a difference.

“I may not have the financial means to support the kids, but through walking, which is what I’m strongly passionate about, I aim to demonstrate the pains and hardship they are exposed to and get their story out there, so that they can get the assistance they need,” he said.

Boy’s journey kicked off earlier today at Tasbet Formula 1, and he intends to rest at Ga-Nala, considering the time of his departure.

“I am ready and confident that God will help me throughout this journey. Until I reach Durban uShaka Marine, I shall not back down,” he added.

Boy is not alone, but is accompanied by three members of the #Snow-walk-to-Durban support team, who’ll be following him in a car to ensure his safety.

“I urge the residents of eMalahleni and beyond to please put in a hand in this initiative that I’ve started, so that together we can make a difference,” he concluded.
