Boys from Pine Ridge High were welcomed with open arms.

The Kakarambha Foundation (God is Almighty) and Glencore hosted a talk for Pine Ridge High School boys, to speak about how to be a responsible adult.

Teaching a young man to become a responsible adult was the topic of the day on September 5.

Speakers of Glencore and the foundation spoke about how to have self-love and how to express yourself if you have sadness of a loss, typically a death of someone or a loved one, and how to show empathy, caring, and solidarity by acknowledging someone else’s grief.

“It is our responsibility to ensure that our young people have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life,” said Thando Masango, founder of Kakarambha Foundation.

“Speaker Sonto Nyembesi said that to be you and to trust yourself is the best medicine”.
