Emalahleni schools receive JoJo tanks and solar lights to boost the learning environment

Emalahleni schools receive JoJo tanks and solar lights to boost the learning environment.

Three schools have received JoJo tanks and solar lights as part of a community development initiative aimed at improving access to water and sustainable energy in learning environments.

Phillip Ndimande Secondary School, Black Hill Primary School, and Mgibe Primary School each benefited from the donation, which was officially handed over during a ceremony held at Phillip Ndimande on October 13.

The initiative forms part of a collaborative effort between the municipality and a private sector partner, focusing on enhancing school infrastructure and ensuring learners and educators have the resources they need for a better educational experience.

During the event, the Mayor, Clr Vusi Nhlapho, expressed appreciation for the support, highlighting how public-private partnerships can help address service delivery challenges.
