Coaldust Multisport hosted its annual circuit race, Clock The Kilos, a test of endurance, determination, and community spirit.
Athletes had the opportunity to challenge themselves by choosing between two-hour, six-hour, and eight-hour events, each designed to see just how many kilometres they could ‘clock’ within their chosen time limit.
Held on October 18, the race brought together an impressive crowd – from young athletes to seasoned runners and even enthusiastic walkers.
With smiles, encouragement, and friendly competition throughout the day, the athletes made the race a memorable experience.
Frik du Preez clocked more kilos than everyone, securing himself the first place with 44km.
Nokuthula Magagula took second with 36km, followed by Richelle Burger with 31km.
“Runners pushed their limits under clear skies, cloudy skies, and rain while supporters cheered them on along the route,” said host Rina Burger.
The club extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants, volunteers, and spectators who made the day a success. Events like these continue to inspire a passion for fitness and bring people together through sport.
