Home Affairs extends operation hours for festive season

The extension only applies to weekday operations.

The Department of Home Affairs in eMalahleni has extended its operating hours for the next two weeks.

The extension will be effective from December 8 to 19, and during the period, their office will operate from 08:00 to 18:00.

This adjustment is intended to give the public more time to access essential services during the holidays, as people will need passports to go on vacation, and it is also the best time for school kids to apply for identity documents.

The extension only applies to weekday operations.

The public is encouraged to make use of the extended hours before the branch returns to its normal schedule.

Regular operating hours will resume on December 22.
