Help Ulrich shine at the South African Championships

Ulrich has earned the opportunity to shine at a national stage, and his way forward lies within your hands – help him get to Cape Town.

Excelling both in academics and across a variety of sports, Ulrich du Plessis, a learner from Laerskool Klipfontein, has earned the incredible honor of representing Mpumalanga at the South African Athletic Championships.

The championships will be taking place from March 19 to 21 at Greenpoint Stadium in Cape Town.
For Ulrich, this milestone is a chance to represent his school, province, and community, while living out the values of determination and resilience that have guided him so far.

However, reaching Cape Town comes with high costs, and Ulrich’s family has launched a BackaBuddy campaign to help cover the expenses of travel and participation. This campaign is not just about funding a trip; it is about giving a young athlete the opportunity to fulfill his dream and continue his journey of growth and achievement.

“Every contribution, whether large or small, makes a real difference and brings Ulrich one step closer to competing at this prestigious event,” said his mother, Hannelies du Plessis.

Supporting Ulrich means investing in the future of a young star who has already shown remarkable promise both in the classroom and on the sports field. It is a chance to help him shine even brighter, to encourage his determination, and to stand behind a child who represents the best of what dedication and perseverance can achieve.

Help Ulrich reach Cape Town and proudly represent Mpumalanga at the South African Championships.
