Lira has breakfast with eMalahleni women

Women were uplifted by Lira’s journey of strength and faith at the New Life Church Ladies Breakfast.

A powerful morning of inspiration unfolded at the New Life Church Ladies Breakfast, where South African multi-platinum singer and motivational speaker Lerato Moipone Molapo, known professionally as Lira, shared her remarkable story of faith, courage, and rising again.

The event on March 7, attended by women from across the city, celebrated the strength and resilience inherent in every woman. Lira recounted her journey of overcoming a life-changing stroke in 2022, emphasising the importance of living one step at a time and trusting in God’s plan.

Her message resonated deeply with attendees, reminding them of the power of perseverance and faith.

“One thing at a time,” Lira told the audience, encouraging them to focus on the present moment and not be overwhelmed by life’s challenges.

Guests described the morning as uplifting and transformative. Many highlighted how Lira’s openness about her struggles and triumphs provided both motivation and a sense of connection.

The breakfast was not only a celebration of womanhood but also a reminder of the gifts God places in every life.
Organisers praised the turnout, noting the event as a space where women could gather, be encouraged, and walk away strengthened and inspired to embrace their purpose.

“It was a beautiful celebration of God’s masterpiece; every woman present was reminded of her strength, courage, and the incredible potential within,” said one attendee, Nokwanda Mkhwanazi.
