Andries Tetane clean-up honours Alex Mampane Primary
The initiative formed part of the ongoing Andries Tatane clean-up campaign.
Led by their subregional secretary and caucus whip, Mahero Sekgala, a political party recently visited Alex Mampane Primary School for a clean-up.
The clean-up campaign held on March 28 was part of the Andries Tatane clean-up campaign.
According to Mahero, they received a formal request from the school’s SGB chairperson, through their PR coordinator, Dorcus Mfiri, to visit the school and assist with manpower for the school’s cleaning company.
“As leaders of society, we adhered to the call without any hesitation, and the programme went very well,” said Mahero.
“We were warmly welcomed by the SGB chairman and later joined by the school principal for the vote of thanks,” he added.

The SGB chairperson and principal asked the party’s leadership to visit the school regularly to ensure the school yard is clean and provides a conducive environment for learning and teaching without disturbance.
“We committed to come back and trim all the trees and continue with landscaping before the school reopens for the second term,” said Mahero.
