ECD sports day marks annual register

Various daycare centres showed up for a fun-filled day as the little ones filled the stadium with smiles.

Pine Ridge Stadium was a place to be over the weekend as the young ones filled the field with joy and celebration.

The event took place on March 20, and different ECD centres from across Emalahleni gathered for their annual sports day.

According to Prudence Segogoba, the event organiser, the event was a great success, with every activity completed as planned and enjoyed by children, teachers, parents, and friends.

The sports day was marked by unity among principals from many centres, including Hope Nursery School, Khanyisani Bubbly Tellies, Nkosingiphile Day Care, Blessing Day Care, Philia Edu Care, Devine Pre-School, Mommy Goose Day Care, Good Angels, Destiny Pre School, Bring Hope Day Care, Little Bees Care, Kids Den, and Little Angel. Children were celebrated with trophies and medals.

The day was filled with different activities that encouraged participation from everyone in the stadium as both children and parents joined in the fun. Prudence further expressed deep appreciation to the Emalahleni Local Municipality for lending them the stadium, and the Klarinet Clinic also played an important role, offering health services to children, teachers, and community members.

“We would like to thank WITBANK NEWS for coming through for us and helping share the story with the wider public,” Prudence added.
