Robert Caruthers School was filled with music and celebration as learners from the foundation phase to the senior grades showcased their talents during a two-day choir festival.
Robert Caruthers School (RCS) was filled with music, excitement and celebration as learners from the foundation phase to the senior grades showcased their talents during a two-day choir festival held on August 5 and 6. The festival brought together learners from RCS as well as invited local schools.
Welcoming parents, learners and guests, the school principal, Wendy Loots, thanked the community for attending in large numbers.
“It is important that parents support their children from a young age,” the principal said. “Making it onto the stage is a big achievement, and children need encouragement to show what they can do.”

The talented learners impressed the audience with beautiful singing performances and energetic drum displays. From the youngest learners to the senior pupils, each group stepped onto the stage with confidence and gave their best performance, leaving the audience proud and entertained.
