Glencore, an Anglo-Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company did it again by making charitable contributions to an orphanage

Glencore carried culture of generosity to Madressa Orphanage.

Ms Ayesha Nyembezi, the Madressa Orphanage owner was overjoyed on Wednesday, July 27 when Glencore donated building materials to her orphanage to aid in the completion of a home for the children, as it has always been her dream to build a home for those in need.

Mapule Mokena, community development superintendent at Glencore Tweefontein Complex said, “We are glad to have been able to assist and be part of the positive changes that are taking place here at the orphanage. Progressing together with our communities is what we always strive for. We hope they will continue to grow and care for the children.”

Mrs Nyembezi accepted the donations and thanked Glencore for this contribution to helping the children, as well as the people who helped her throughout the journey.
