Witbank High receives school shoe donation

Witbank High received a much-needed donation of twenty pairs of shoes from Sanlam.

A good pair of shoes makes the uniform complete.

When learners wear their school uniform, they wear it with pride, but for certain students having a new pair of school shoes is just not possible.

Recently, the school received a donation of over twenty pairs of much-needed school shoes.

Candace Moodley, a financial planner at Sanlam, made it all possible. “It is a blessing to donate a pair of shoes to a child in need, giving hope for the path they walk in life towards a bright and great future,” said Candace.

Deputy principal for Witbank High School, Waheed Luqman said, “Witbank High School appreciates the donation made by Sanlam for backing up our learners. This is an exemplary social responsibility initiative taken by a business in our community to support local schools.”
